Glenn Miller Orchestra

The Glenn Miller Orchestra is "on the road
longer and more continuously than any other in the whole world,
having celebrated its 44th year anniversary in 2000. It covers
over a hundred thousand miles a year, working most every night
for 48 weeks out of every 52, which includes nearly 300 playing
dates and an audience of over a half million people annually.
The orchestra has performed in all 50 United States, as well
as throughout Europe, Australia, Iceland, New Zealand, Guam,
the Philippines, and South and Central America. Their performance
includes all of the biggest hits such as "Moonlight Serenade,"
"Little Brown Jug," "Danny Boy," "In
The Mood," and "Chattanooga Choo-Choo." Directed
by Larry OBrien, the orchestra is joined by one female
and one male singer.
