FREE FAMILY FUN DAY

It’s a party, and you’re all invited! Consider this your special invitation to help celebrate the Palace Theatre’s 75th birthday. Don’t miss this fun-filled morning as we turn the theatre into a great big party house with lots of activities for children of all ages. Enjoy face painting, hands-on arts and crafts, a scavenger hunt throughout the theatre, and best of all, everyone goes home with a box of the best popcorn around. You won’t want to miss this big bash so mark your calendar now!

CAUGHT IN HALLOWEEN'S WEB

Twelve-year-old Nathan Weaver thinks he’s too old for Trick-or-Treat. But when his little sister disappears on Halloween night, he is forced to go on a quest to rescue her. He soon finds himself “Caught in Halloween’s Web”! Join Nathan as he explores the mysterious world of Halloween and meets witches, wizards, ghosts and other spooky creatures. Kids (and their parents) are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween fashions for a costume parade to round out a night of adventure, magic, and fun at the Palace! Created and Directed by Kevin Becker.

JUNGLE BOOK

 

Join young Mowgli as he learns the “Laws” of the jungle in this time-honored adventure. With the help of friends like the black panther, Bagheera, and Baloo the lovable bear, Mowgli learns about friendship and survival. Cheer as Mowgli faces his fear and foils his nemesis the tiger Shere Khan. Performed by Theatre IV, the second largest children’s theatre company in the U.S., this live, musical version of Rudyard Kipling’s classic will delight both the young and the young at heart.

BETWEEN THE LIONS, the hit Public Broadcasting series, is coming LIVE to the Palace stage. The Winner of 7 Emmy Nominations including Outstanding Children’s Series and Outstanding Writing, this show comes highly recommended by teachers and endorsed by the National Education Association. Teaching educational concepts, this performance helps many beginning readers grasp an understanding of key skills, while enjoying the thrill of a live production complete with puppets and a visit from Gordon of SESAME STREET.
