from start to finish, and don't want to travel to New York City,
remember Moscow Ballet for 2005." Starring Irina Surneva,
Honored Artist of Russia (03), principal artist of the Bolshoi
and Stanislavsky Theaters, and Tatiana Predenia, Honored Artist
of Russia (05). Ms. Surneva has received four International
Ballet Competition awards in Plisetskaya, Nagoe Japan, and Moscow,
including the Tenth Moscow International Competition for best
partner of the competition in 2005. Directed by choreographer
and principal dancer Anatoli Emelianov, and Valerie Kokorev,
director of the Siberian Ballet Theater, former Bolshoi and
Stanislavsky Theater soloist. This Broadway level spectacle
features dazzling costumes, 50 All-Star Russian cast, hand-painted
sets, larger-than-life puppets, and breathtaking scenic design
by Valentin Fedorov. Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker
is beloved by audiences and praised by critics for its unique
setting of Act Two in the "Land of Peace and Harmony".
Now in its thirteenth consecutive year, Moscow Ballet's Great
Russian Nutcracker will tour 80 cities this holiday season.
