The performance at the Palace featured 64 student dancers from Marion and the surrounding area, instructed by Edye Cook of Edye Cook's School of Dance and Performing Arts. (740) 387-8066

Moscow ballerina Svetlana Todinova was present for the auditions, which were held on September 29, 2001 at the Harding Hotel. She remained in Marion through Friday, October 5 to help with the first week of practice.
