Palace Academy of the Arts Spring classes will take place April 15 through May 27.

• Adult classes offered include ACTING 101, RHYTHM & MOVEMENT, TAPPERCIZE TUESDAYS, and BROADWAY DANCERCIZE.
• Youth programs include ACTING CLASSES for children age 6-7, 8-10, 11-14, and 15-18.
• Preschool classes for ages 3-5 years consist of MUSIC IN MOTION.

Each of the classes meets for seven weeks. Each seven week session for Adult and Youth classes is $84; Preschool classes are $70. Registration and payment deadline is one week prior to the beginning of the first class.

In addition, private One-On-One 30 minute sessions are also offered:

• VOICE – Instructors Matt Downing (8-adult) and Jami Rawlins (12-adult)
• ACTING -Instructor Kristi Wink (all ages)
• DANCE – Instructor Chelsea Sims (age 4-adult)
• PIANO – Instructor Terri Malone (7-Adult)

Private lessons are $35 per 30 minute class or $60 per 60 minute class. Couple’s dance is $55 per 30 minute class. Private sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Special Spring Workshops…..

HAMILTON DANCE WORKSHOP
WHEN: Sat, Apr 6 (Beginner) -&- Sat, Apr 20 (Advanced) 10am-11:30am
WHAT: Begin the morning with a warm-up “Hamilton” dancers perform before each show, discover the reasons behind the choreographed moves, and then learn choreography straight from the Tony Award winning musical! Please note April 6th is a Beginners Workshop with a slightly modified version of the actual choreography. This class is for those who are new to dance or dancers who prefer a slower paced class. April 20th is an Advanced Workshop with original choreography from the show. This class is recommended to those who have had dance training, but beginners are welcome in this class if they prefer a challenge.

POUR PAINTING WORKSHOP
WHEN: Tue, Apr 16 -OR- Thu, April 18 from 6:30pm-7:30pm
WHAT: Learn the latest (and very addicting) artistic trend of Pour Painting. Participants pour colorful paints onto a canvas, and by means of subtle movements discover the process creates a beautiful fluid work of abstract art. Learn the “Swirl, Swipe, Flip & Drag, and Dirty” pour methods and receive recipes and instructions to take home for future experimentation. All materials are provided, including square tiles on which to experiment techniques and a 12”x12” canvas for the final masterpiece.
