Stan Jefferson is the Co-founder and CEO of Jefferson Rowe The Vertical Horizon Solutions Group. Jefferson is a renowned speaker at the national and local levels on academic achievement and leadership development. He earned his Master’s Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Bowling Green State University. He holds a principal and superintendent license certificate from Ashland University. In April 2016, Jefferson was given a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ashland University Gridiron Club where he was employed as an assistant coach for 11 seasons. In 2015, Jefferson was inducted into the Ohio High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame. The Ohio State African American Alumni Society, awarded Jefferson the Samella Lewis Professional Achievement Award, for his long distinguished career in education and athletics. Jefferson was also inducted into his high school alma mater the Valley View Hall of Fame, as well as, the Mansfield City Schools Hall of Fame in February 2009. Jefferson spent 28 years in the Mansfield City Schools. During Jefferson’s tenure with the Mansfield City Schools he held many positions: teacher, assistant principal, principal, and head coach (girls and boys track/football). Jefferson functioned as the Administrator Consultant during the construction of Mansfield’s state of the art facility, which implemented academies/small learning communities. He trained extensively under Knowledge Works.
