Job Title: Utility/Tech Crew Member

Responsibilities:

  • Theatre and Pavilion Maintenance:

  • Support the Facilities Supervisor in cleaning the theatre, pavilion, and all adjacent spaces, including backstage areas, dressing rooms, restrooms, etc.

  • Event Setup and Teardown:

  • Assist in setting up and tearing down events, working closely with the Facilities Supervisor.

  • Outdoor Maintenance:

  • Maintain outdoor spaces by performing landscaping duties, mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing snow, and sweeping sidewalks.

  • Show Support:

  • Collaborate with the Tech Director on the setup and strike of shows.

  • Provide assistance during performances, either backstage or in sound and light booths.

  • Light Maintenance:

  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and making minor repairs.

Availability:

  • Flexible Schedule:

  • Adapt to a changing schedule based on shows, activities, and rentals.

  • Weekend Work:

  • Must be available to work on weekends.

  • Variable Hours:

  • Work between 12-30 hours per week, depending on the schedule.

Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to a flexible and changing schedule.

  • Availability to work weekends.

  • Willingness to perform both indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks.

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with different supervisors.
