AUDITIONS! The Drowsy Chaperone

Director Charles Groth and Musical Director Daniel Bradshaw will hold auditions in the Palace Theatre May Pavilion for the Palace Theatre’s fall musical The Drowsy Chaperone. Those interested may audition on Saturday, August 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and should enter through the May Pavilion.

All auditioners should come dressed in casual clothing appropriate for performing choreography. Participants will learn a short dance routine and read from the script.  Individuals wishing to audition are asked to come prepared to sing a one-minute audition tune (not a song from the show). A pianist will be provided. Please bring sheet music. No CDs please.

Performance dates for The Drowsy Chaperone are November 3, 4, and 5, 2017 at the Marion Palace Theatre May Pavilion.

Man In Chair
Musical theatre aficionado who mourns the end of the Golden Era. He narrates the show as he listens to the record on vinyl.

Mrs. Tottendale
The air-headed, proper, and bossy host of the wedding.

Underling
