Pour Painting Class

Learn the latest (and very addicting) artistic trend of Pour Painting with Art Instructor Rachel McCall. No experience is necessary for this relaxing workshop. Participants pour colorful paints onto a canvas, and by means of subtle movements discover the process creates a beautiful fluid work of abstract art. Rachel will demonstrate the “Swirl, Swipe, Flip & Drag, and Dirty” pour methods and provide recipes and instructions to take home for future experimentation. All materials are provided, including square tiles on which to experiment techniques and a 12″x12″ canvas for the final masterpiece. Tiles make marvelous coasters or look beautiful displayed on a stand or wall. Take home containers will be provided. This experience is great for a date night or a girl’s night out! McCall earned a BFA from Shawnee State University and runs The Art Center, Ltd in Marion, Ohio.  $36 each class; $35 PCAA Members
