The Marion Palace Theatre invites young actors ages 8+ to audition for this year’s junior play: Bringing Down the House — a laugh-out-loud comedy about big dreams, last-minute chaos, and a musical where the songs never actually get sung!
This fast-paced farce follows three hopeful creators trying to launch their new show before their theatre gets demolished. With surprise guests, protestors, politicians, and a demolition crew all crashing rehearsal, the result is an unpredictable, over-the-top stage comedy that celebrates the magic (and madness!) of live theatre.

Robin – The assistant director who’s sweet one minute and a total tyrant the next
Jerry – A jokester demolition worker who’s always cracking jokes at the wrong time
Mona – A flashy but clueless agent trying (and failing) to look important
