Rock the May: A night of iconic hits & local talent

rock the may

Rock the May: An Evening with Friends is shaping up to be one of the most exciting nights of the season at the Marion Palace Theatre. This annual fundraiser brings together a dynamic group of local performers for a high-energy, cabaret-style show celebrating some of the greatest rock hits of all time.

Hosted by Bruce Cudd and Julia Vanderhoff, this year’s event features an outstanding lineup of local talent, including Julie McGinnis, Morgan Schwartz, Amanda Zucker, Sara Grote, Tanner Wink, Brady Wink, Miranda Werner, John Garnes, Sami Kay Mergy, Sadie Wink, Carter Rawlins, Dustin Rawlins, and Madisen Schenk.

Audiences can look forward to iconic hits like “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Dreams,” “I Love Rock ‘N Roll,” “What’s Up,” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger". The show also features powerful solos, duets, and group numbers that highlight the depth of local talent in our community.

More than just a night of great music, Rock the May plays a vital role in supporting the Marion Palace Theatre. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser help sustain arts education programs, community events, and the ongoing preservation of this historic venue.

Guests can also enjoy raffles throughout the evening, making it a fun and meaningful way to give back while enjoying a fantastic night out.

Rock the May: An Evening with Friends takes place Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available now through the Marion Palace Theatre box office and official website.
